Procrastination. While we often think of it in relation to our personal goals (remember that shelving project in the garage that keeps getting put off?), the pitfalls of procrastination have an impact in our professional lives as well. In fact, as a lawyer, procrastination can have serious consequences and may necessitate a call to the Law Society’s Professional Liability Insurance Department if it results in a potential claim.

In this one-hour webinar, the Law Society of Manitoba’s Director of Insurance, Tana Christianson, and Professional Liability Insurance Fund Counsel, James Cox, will review why lawyers procrastinate, real life claims caused by procrastination, and  the ethical and practical reasons lawyers should not procrastinate when they become aware of circumstances that may give rise to a claim. Additionally they will share some tips on how to beat this dreaded but oh so common condition.

They will also tell you how those shelves turned out ...

Presenters from The Law Society of Manitoba:
Tana Christianson, Director of Insurance
James Cox, Professional Liability Insurance Fund Counsel

Webinar Registration Fee: $45 plus GST (includes materials sent electronically)
Registrants will receive an email prior to February 13 with detailed instructions on how to connect.
