Mediation Services is a local, non-profit organization that has been offering conflict resolution services to Manitobans since 1979, including victim-offender mediation, community mediation for family/neighborhood disputes, workplace intervention, parenting coaching/mediation and a comprehensive training program in conflict resolution skills.
We are seeking nominations for volunteers for our Board of Directors for terms starting in September 2023. We are particularly interested in candidates in the legal profession with a background in criminal justice, social justice or family law who are also willing to volunteer on our Board Governance sub-committee.
Experience with or demonstrated understanding of Restorative Justice is a definite asset, along with prior experience serving on a Board of Directors and an understanding of the role of a Director.
