Criminal Defence Advocacy Skills Workshop:
Advocacy in the Modern Court

Postponed

Jointly Presented by the Criminal Defence Lawyers’ Association and the Law Society of Manitoba

As the Courts continue to evolve and innovate so must your approach to advocacy.

What does effective advocacy look like when you are making submissions by phone or video?

What does the client-centred approach entail when your client is attending remotely?

How can you be helpful to the Court in these evolving settings and procedures?

This skills focused workshop will once again feature small groups learning by practicing skills and watching faculty demonstrations.  Discussions lead by experienced faculty will focus on practical advice to help you hone your advocacy skills in the modern court setting.
