How do you know if your client is receiving all of the land in the offer to purchase? No due diligence on a real estate transaction is complete without confirming the land description. Best practice means ordering a copy of the plan and reviewing it with your client, whether it is a Plan of Survey or Subdivision, a Condominium Plan, or an Easement Plan that affects the title.
As part of Teranet Manitoba’s commitment to continuous improvement, they are now integrating the land titles online search tools to make your searches easier. In the spring of this year, the search functionality of Survey Plans Online and Documents Online will be moved into Land Titles Online. This means that when you order a copy of the title, the associated plans will be linked for easy ordering, along with other improvements. This session will provide an overview of the system enhancements and a demonstration of their use.
Who should attend? Real estate practitioners and their support staff.
