Advancing Access, Public Trust, and Inclusion
The Law Society of Manitoba is proud to release our 2026 – Annual Report and Financial Statements.
In the inaugural year of our 2025–2028 Strategic Plan, we made significant progress advancing our core objectives. Here are some of the major milestones
✔ | Public Trust Led a successful national campaign defending the rule of law, garnering the attention of the international legal community and embarking on phase two of the campaign designed to educate Canada's youth. |
✔ | Access to Justice Completed the initial planning stages of a multi-year, community co-designed initiative aimed at improving Manitobans’ access to a wide range of pro bono legal services through one interconnected ecosystem. |
✔ | Fostering Inclusion Established a youth outreach initiative to promote careers in law in rural and northern communities, and added a French legal services provider to expand bilingual capacity. |
Additionally, we continue to build on the fundamental work of enhancing lawyer competence and supporting well-being by proactively connecting them with diverse online practice resources and support services.
