The Law Society of Manitoba is the governing body for Manitoba lawyers.

All Manitoba lawyers are required to comply with the standards of conduct outlined in our Rules and Code of Professional Conduct which are approved by the Benchers who serve as the Law Society’s board of directors.

Education

In accordance with Law Society Rule 2-81.1(8) all practicing lawyers must complete one hour of eligible CPD activities for each month in a calendar year during which they maintained active practising status.
