Community Financial Counselling Services (CFCS) is a community-based non-profit, charitable organization with 50 years of experience helping to meet the complex and often unique needs of individuals and families in Manitoba who are experiencing financial challenges.
The organization is inviting applications / nominations to fill current vacancies on its volunteer Board of Directors. We are currently looking for Board members who have the following core attributes: Interest in the financial challenges and issues faced by our homeless population and / or individuals or families who have low-income as it impacts on daily life, health and financial well-being. Experience as a Board Director in a Governance or Policy role. Willingness to participate in at least one of the sub committees. Available for a minimum 6 evening board meetings throughout the year.
