National Indigenous Peoples Day is Tuesday, June 21. It is a day for all Canadians to recognize and celebrate the unique heritage, diverse cultures and outstanding contributions of First Nations, Métis and Inuit peoples. This year’s theme is “Celebrating Our Lands”. Here are some ways you can mark the day:

- Join the all-day festivities with the Manitoba Métis Federation in Selkirk Park, June 21, starting with breakfast at 9:00 am
- North End Women’s Centre is hosting a Celebration, Ceremony and Feast on June 21 at 12:30, 394 Selkirk Avenue
- Enjoy live music throughout the gallery at the Winnipeg Art Gallery- Qaumajuq on June 21 at 7:00 pm
- Visit the Canadian Museum for Human Rights Truth and Reconciliation Exhibition
