Smith Corona Cook & Munce is a 10 lawyer criminal defence firm looking for a junior lawyer to assist with the front-end work while having the opportunity to build a practice. This would be a position where we pay a salary for junioring, plus a generous percentage. Our workload has increased significantly over the last few years so we are looking to find a third junior to assist with the volume. The increase in our workload also means there is a lot of opportunity for working on bigger cases with our more senior lawyers. We are looking for somebody who is passionate about the defence side of criminal law, enjoys being able to help people in trouble with the law, and looks forward to spending a lot of time in court.
