Internationally Trained Lawyer Program Manager – CPLED
The Canadian Centre for Professional Legal Education (CPLED) is expanding programs for internationally trained lawyers (ITLs) and seeking an experienced lawyer to lead and develop these offerings.
Responsibilities:
- Develop & deliver ITL courses and educational content aligned to competency frameworks
- Lead a team of staff and contractors; set goals, mentor, and oversee performance
- Manage operations: schedules, budgets, reporting (incl. to the Federation of Law Societies of Canada), risk & continuous improvement
- Collaborate across CPLED leadership to enhance processes, tech, and program quality
Requirements:
- Member of a Law Society (or eligible) with 7+ years post-bar call experience
- 5+ years supervisory/project leadership experience
- Proven education content development for professionals; ITL experience is an asset
- Strong project management, communication, and interest holder engagement skills
Hybrid: in-office Tuesday–Thursday at our Calgary head office; Monday/Friday flexible
