Labour and Employment Associate – MLT Aikins LLP

Candidates should have one to three years of experience in several areas of labour and employment law (ideally in both provincial and federal spheres). This includes employee discipline and termination, wrongful and constructive dismissal claims, human rights and the duty to accommodate, employment contract drafting and policy development, labour arbitrations and Manitoba Labour Board applications/hearings, workplace safety and health matters, and privacy. The ideal candidate has experience working with employers to navigate the legal and practical business issues that arise in these areas in a timely way.
