MPI’s Legal and Compliance Division is seeking a lawyer with a minimum of five years’ experience to join its Corporate Commercial team.
As in-house Counsel you will provide advice to the Corporation focused on corporate, commercial, procurement, property, privacy, and compliance law. This work involves:
• Working directly with internal business units to provide timely legal advice.
• Drafting, reviewing, and negotiating a wide variety of commercial contracts.
• Drafting a wide variety of procurement related documentation and providing procurement law advice at all stages of the procurement process.
• Providing privacy and access law advice related to the Corporation
• Providing advice and opinions on the drafting, interpretation and application of internal policies, directives, the law, and the Corporation’s compliance with them.
