Please be advised that the Law Library Hub service is now on hiatus and will not be able to offer any assistance over the summer months. Services are expected to resume in the fall once law school students return to their studies.
About the Law Library Hub
The Law Society of Manitoba is committed to the advancement, promotion, and facilitation of increased access to justice for all Manitobans. The Law Library Hub is a pilot program, and the goal of the project is to provide information and assistance to members of the public who are engaged with the Justice system.
The Law Library Hub began on an in-person basis in February 2020, with law student volunteers providing free in-person legal information and assistance at the Manitoba Law Library. The Law Library Hub project temporarily shut down shortly afterward when COVID-19 restrictions were introduced. It reopened in a virtual capacity earlier this year with student volunteers resuming Law Library Hub services until the end of the school term.
