Legal Counsel – West – Carpenters’ Regional Council

We are looking for counsel who are members of the bar, or eligible for membership, in British Columbia, Alberta, Saskatchewan and/or Manitoba to join our Western legal team. We are looking for individuals who are passionate about advancing the rights of working people and who thrive in a fast-paced, team-oriented legal environment. We welcome applications from both experienced lawyers, and newer calls to the bar who have demonstrated an interest in labour law and advocacy for workers. While litigation and dispute resolution experience as well as experience in construction-related labour law are preferred, we are prepared to mentor and develop strong candidates who show sound judgment, excellent communication skills, and a commitment to union values.
